Very nice operator, super quiet

Reasonably well-kept, but hardly any transparency and the staff leaves a lot to be desired ...

For years, Gronenburg has been a reliable partner for our seminars and the food is simply delicious.

Stay practically every week in the Gronenburg. The operators are very hospitable, the rooms are always very clean. In short, I always feel very comfortable.

Cozy, rustic ambience in the restaurant, simple, clean modernity in the rooms. In a calm neighborhood. Very friendly owner. Also highly recommended with dogs.

Very nice quiet hotel right next to Greven. Very clean and the breakfast is really delicious. The environment, between fields and trees is really nice too

Nicely left owner. Solid kitchen. Handicraft-rustic interior. Due to the beautiful rural location and the beer garden, this place is definitely recommended for a stopover for a bike ride.

I liked it very much, it was wanted a bit away from the city chosen and therefore wonderfully quiet. Wi-Fi, TV, shower, bed, breakfast - everything fit and on top of it right blackout blinds!

Absolute disaster !! I come from the restaurant business myself, but I've never seen anything like it. My grandma celebrated her 80th birthday with us there. A brunch was planned (champagne reception, soup, lunch, dessert and cake). It started with not even being greeted in the morning. A waiter came in at some point and brought a tray with champagne and orange juice. After we said that we would like to wait for it, he put the tray down and left and did not come back for the time being. So I took the tray and distributed the champagne to my relatives. Since I needed supplies because there weren't enough glasses on the tray, I was asked to take care of it myself. That was already an absolute cheek. Then we went to the table and were served the soup by a heavily pregnant waitress (quite irresponsible). The soup tasted like dish water. Then a buffet was served. We had chicken schnitzel, pork, croquettes, rice, salad and vegetables. But only pork, croquettes, potatoes and frozen vegetables were brought in. On complaint, 10 of us, not yet cooked, were brought chicken schnitzel and salad that was not tasty at all. Rice was brought to us when we had finished eating. The dessert was a cheek. We had ordered men's cream and ice cream with red grits. We were served men's cream that really didn't taste like men's cream at all. The ice cream was brought in after 15 minutes, but only after a complaint and only for 10 people. The red grits consisted only of disgusting bits and melted vanilla ice cream. So we didn't eat it because we were afraid of getting sick. Then we got cakes. However, it was highly recommended. The waiters were very rude. Overall, the gastronomy is not recommended! If I could give 0 stars I would have given 0 stars !!! I felt very sorry for my grandma because she was really looking forward to this day and the day was completely ruined by this non-existent service and by the catastrophic food!

has not been a restaurant for 2 years, but only for hotel guests with a small menu, However, the dishes of the small menu are barely edible, steak is prepared with contact grill, sauce from the retort, Only the frying cakes were very good.

Very nice country hotel in absolutely great nature. The food is great and everything just not expensive. The operators and staff are always very friendly and accommodating. I can only recommend it!

We were here for a week with friends. Rooms of different sizes and equipped. Everything OK. Breakfast very good and plentiful. Real scrambled eggs, jam and fruit from your own garden. Quiet place - good for bike tours.

Price / performance fits perfectly. Dogs are also welcome here. Everything is clean and tidy. Especially delicious rolls and cold meats / homemade jam for breakfast.

I got exactly what I booked ... namely a room in a country hotel. The whole appearance is clean and well maintained and I was very friendly there. My special requests ... to have dinner late in the evening were fulfilled with a smile and a matter of course. I would stay there again anytime :-)

A very cozy hotel, with a family atmosphere ... caring and friendly. Breakfast and dinner were a little experience. Top taste! Beautifully presented, everything fresh and the "hosts" were very attentive and open to every customer request. If someone is in a bad mood, he will always find something to complain about ... but this is not due to the quality of the hotel. I was completely satisfied and will be back.
